Make sure you've followed the instructions to configure users and groups on a secondary server. |

Make sure the user and group information is set to expire frequently on the secondary servers. |

Make sure the owner name and password are the same on all servers. |

Make sure TCP/IP is active and that DNS is set up correctly on each server. |

Open TCP Filter Admin and make sure secondary servers can access port 687 (the AppleShare IP Registry port for sharing users and groups) on the primary server. |

Check the connection status of shared users and groups in the Users & Groups List. |
